To start with the ascent by Dachstein Glacier cable car is an experience: You conquer 1,000 metres of elevation and float this close past steeply sloping rock walls. Having arrived at an elevation of 2,700 m, you will look out over a fantastic panorama with hundreds of mountain peaks.

Right at the mountain station of the Dachstein cable car. Enjoy unique vistas and insights. Perhaps you’re feeling a little bit on edge, but there is really no reason for that. A visit to the Dachstein SkyWalk is completely safe. In addition to the observation deck, a tour of the Dachstein mountain station also awaits you. It reveals to you the most attractive views of the imposing Dachstein south wall and the most beautiful peaks of the Alps.

The morning sun colours the sky and also makes the Schladming glacier shimmer a deep pink. You may be able to observe the sunrise particularly well from the Dachstein Sky Walk and from the comfortable Dachstein deck chairs.
