Are you planning a visit with your little one?
A short-term ascent to altitudes above 2,500 metres using cable cars or on mountain roads is generally acceptable for healthy children of all ages, i.e. children of all ages, including infants, in view of the reduced oxygen partial pressure of the air they breathe at high altitudes.  For very young infants, however, spending several hours at altitude should be carefully considered (less efficient temperature regulation, rapid dehydration, effects of high altitude radiation/sun).

Travelling with your dog?
Please note that we can only transport your dog in the gondola with a lead and muzzle! Tip: You can buy a muzzle at the ticket office for € 9.50.
