Winter tandem flight from the Dachstein

A paragliding flight from the Dachstein, the most eastern glacier of the Alps, is an exceptional experience! On a beautiful winter day, the pilot and co-pilot can catch a marvellous view during their flight from the Schladming glacier (2,700 m). It stretches southwards to the Triglav mountains in Slovenia and northwards into the Czech Republic. There’s no more impressive way to experience Austria! After a few steps, the ground will drop out from under your feet and you will float over the southern wall of the Dachstein, which mountaineers scale with great effort in the summer months. Bring along solid footwear with a good corrugated sole and warm clothing (e. g. ski overalls).
