Due to its height and isolated situation, the Dachstein mountain is subject to special weather conditions. The weather can change entirely within minutes, these extreme weather turnarounds must be observed:

For exact time specifications, information on difficulties, and other questions, please contact the tourism or mountain guide offices!
Please be aware of danger due to lighting on the climbing tracks!
Please bring proper equipment (climbing irons, pickaxes, rope) when traversing the glacier!
