Due to its height and isolated situation, the Dachstein mountain is subject to special weather conditions. The weather can change entirely within minutes, these extreme weather turnarounds must be observed:

Please be aware of danger due to lighting on the climbing tracks!
Please bring proper equipment (climbing irons, pickaxes, rope) when traversing the glacier!
