The Glacier Restaurant is located right by the Upper Station of the Dachstein Gletscherbahn. Besides its elevation and views, something else makes it extraordinary: The border between the federal states of Styria and Upper Austria runs right through the site. You can satisfy any craving for sweet, sour, or liquid here: specialties from the region, varied daily menus, trendy snacks, and tasty “jausenbrettl” for in between, as well as a salad and cake buffet. Your day at Dachstein begins with a great breakfast buffet at the Sunrise Breakfast. At the Sunset Tours, you can have a flavourful supper served to you to end the day.

The Dachstein is an inspiring place to work creatively, develop ideas, get to know people, and celebrate! Seminars and conferences are very welcome at the highest altitude seminar room in Austria. The team of the Glacier Restaurant will gladly plan and organise your special event for you with a general programme at the Dachstein - whether a wedding or anniversary celebration, company presentation, incentive, festivity, or other occasion.
