There are 3 attractions there, which are especially impressive in the winter: the Skywalk, the Ice Palace, and the Glacier Gap. Dive into the “Dachstein Ice Palace”! The Dachstein Ice Palace is unique in Austria and leads guests directly into the inner depths of the Dachstein glacier.

After enjoying the viewing platform on the Dachstein Sky Walk at 2,700 m, the next highlight will entice you on the Dachstein. The Dachstein Ice Palace enables visitors to dive into the hidden world of a glacier.
 
The Ice Palace is only three minutes walking distance from the Dachstein mountain station and opens up a whole new world made completely out of ice – during any and all weather conditions. The construction of the Ice Palace took over a year to complete. The result is a fascinating, mystical experience made out of ice, light, and sound.

The Eldorado Ski Tours on the Dachstein:

Numerous ski tours, steep descents, and crossovers start from the mountain station of the Dachstein cable cars. A highlight amongst these tours: the “Austrian National Ski Tour”, a 25 km long Dachstein crossover from Dachstein to Obertraun in Upper Austria. A special shuttle bus brings the guests back to Schladming.
